Summary:
UPMC is hiring a full-time Project Coordinator for the UPP Anesthesiology – Division of Chronic Pain located in Shadyside, PA. UPP Chronic Pain takes an innovative approach to pain medicine for our patients as a national leader in both clinical practice and research. This opportunity allows for the selected candidate to meet and interact with members of the organization at various hospitals as we continue to expand our footprint and impact our patient’s everyday lives.
UPP Chronic Pain is looking for its next life-changer. Our division is expanding and we’re hoping to identify top talent who will provide day-to-day support within the division of our providers, practice managers, and leadership team. If you’re looking for an opportunity to initiate your career in Healthcare Administration/Project Management, this is the role for you!  You will be working Monday - Friday with the ability to have flexible remote work possibility after a successful training period. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Provider Scheduling
  • Project Management
  • Practice Management
  • Assist with department administrative support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare, or related field required
  • Two years of experience in project planning and/or administrative functions required OR one year experience in project planning and/or administrative functions with completion of UPMC Summer Associates/Pittsburgh Fellows program required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Excellent client service skills and proven ability to deal effectively with employees required. Ability to coordinate projects, manage tasks, establish priorities make decisions, and follow issues through to resolution as directed, required
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred 
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics, Project & Program Management, Business/Operations/Administrative
