Across UPMC, our guiding principle is to always prioritize the safety of our employees, patients, and members. UPMC believes that vaccination is important, helps protect all, and advocates that everyone who can be vaccinated should be vaccinated.

UPMC complies with all governmental requirements related to local, state, and federal COVID-19 vaccination for employment. The Jan. 13 Supreme Court of the United States decision that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward requires UPMC to ensure employees either get vaccinated or receive a requested medical or religious exemption.

The Recruitment Researcher is a temporary, full-time position that is estimated to provide recruitment support for 15 weeks.  While in the temporary assignment, the Recruitment Researcher will primarily work daylight hours, Monday through Friday.  A perk of this position includes flexible work arrangements!  

In this role, the Recruitment Researcher will provide overall recruitment support to members of our Urban Service Lines Recruitment Team. They will be responsible for reviewing applications, posting job opportunities, outreaching to passive candidates to discuss job opportunities at UPMC, and much more!

Responsibilities:

  • Qualifying candidate calls and phone interviews.
  • Data entry for proactive candidate pipeline database.
  • Point of contact for departmental queries. Running regular reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis in addition to ad hoc reporting.
  • Research professional associations, networking groups, websites, etc.
  • Candidate generation through online sourcing.
  • Assist in the development and execution of Talent Acquisition events.
  • Employee referral management.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and three years of progressively responsible administrative experience (preferably in a talent acquisition environment).  
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field strongly preferred.
