Description
The Department of Psychiatry seeks to hire a Research Assistant to the Western Psychiatric Hospital Space Coordinator to help with various space management initiatives. The day-to-day tasks includes preparing for office/lab relocations; schedule moves; submit work orders and key requests; participate in research lab and research file cleanout; update building contact data and furniture inventory in Access database.
This position is grant funded.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare for Office/Lab Relocations
- Schedule Moves and Submit Work Orders/Key Requests/Purchase orders
- Perform basic clerical and/or data entry functions.
- Participate in Research Lab and File Cleanout
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Ability to sort and file reports and records that have already been classified or that are easily classified in a simple serial classification system (i.e. alphabetical, chronological, or numerical).
- Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic calculations in order to maintain department files and routine records.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and enjoy walking.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
