Under the general direction of the management team and Senior staff, this position requires a variety of experienced analytical and/or PeopleSoft programming capabilities, the ability to perform and supervise tasks such as: defining requirements, developing and/or maintaining computer applications/systems, and providing services to meet client IT and business needs within budget and targeted deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Ability to handle highly complex programming of SQRs. Ability to be accountable for assignments of high risk.
- Practical experience leading projects and other staff.
- Handle project level decisions with minimal supervision.
- Handle highly complex Oracle SQL programming and UNIX scripting.
- Knowledge of functional business areas of Finance or Supply Chain /Materials Management.
- Application support or development projects in the areas of Finance or Supply Chain Materials Management.
- Highly complex programming of online Panels, Menus, Records, Application Engines, App Packages and PeopleCode (either via enhancement or new development projects).

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Strongly preferred 3-5 years experience as a PeopleSoft Application Developer supporting PeopleSoft Finance & Supply Chain Management Version 9.2
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 31 months or more experience in PeopleSoft specific information systems preferred.
- A Masters degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
- Good project management, oral and written communication skills are required.
- Must have attended all of the following 4 PeopleSoft classes and some additional technical or functional classes (at a release level no more than 2 levels lower than UPMC's current release level)
- PeopleTools I
- PeopleTools II
- SQR
- PeopleCode
- Must also have a basic understanding of the PeopleSoft.
