Description
Responsibilities:

Act as a model of recovery-focused and clinically sound engagement with consumers.

Actively engage consumers in their Individualized Stabilization Plans.

Consistently demonstrate internal and external quality customer service standards to all that request assistance, responding in a professional manner.

Provide consumers and family members with information about resources at both facility and in the community.

Accept daily direction from the Crisis Residential Unit Program Manager.

Coordinate discharge planning processes and discharge planning meetings, as directed by the Program Manager.
-
Engage actively in case staffing with other SHBH staff (e.g. Crisis Workers, Nurses, Physicians, etc.) who are working with the consumers who are receiving services at the CRU.

Provide daily group therapy, and individual and family therapy as needed and in accordance with recognized treatment models.

Maintain all relevant licenses and certifications required to perform essential duties.

Document all relevant information and interactions according to the policy.

Attend supervision at least monthly with the Crisis Residential Unit Program Manager, or designee.

Accept daily direction from the Director of Crisis Services.

Interface with the Crisis Staff, SHBH Outpatient Staff, and other community agencies and maintains a cooperative relationship with the members of all of these departments/agencies.
Qualifications

Master Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field.

Licensure not required, but can sign agreement for licensure.

Has a minimum of one year of mental health direct care experience.

Has experience working with a variety of disciplines and educational backgrounds.

Strong working knowledge of the mental health system and services.Commitment to consumer choice, empowerment and recovery.

Ability to establish trusting relationships.

Ability to function as a member of a team and work collaboratively with others.
-
Ability to work independently, and communicate progress with supervisors.
-
Excellence in time management and organizational skills.
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Driver's License

Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal

Act 33 with renewal

Act 34 with renewal

Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
