The Recruiter is a regular, full-time position that works daylight hours, Monday through Friday. A perk of this position includes flexible work arrangements that allow you to spend a portion of your week working at home!
In this role, the Recruiter will be responsible for Home Health & Hospice recruitment efforts. Daily job responsibilities will include posting positions for recruitment, reviewing applications, preparing salary recommendations, extending offers of employment, and much more!

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary employment consultant for designated departments.
- Realistically describe to applicants the responsibilities of any appropriate position
- Choose the most qualified candidates to refer to departments based upon documented objective criteria consistent with the legal requirements, job description, qualifications, and business unit policies in a timely manner.
- Facilitate job posting system.
- Comply, analyze and prepare reports on the computer and works on special projects as requested.
- Conduct employment screening interviews for internal and external applicants, of all levels and types of positions, including management.
- Represent UPMC at external and internal functions (i.e., job fairs, UPMC sponsored events, etc.), provide the public with information about UPMC and career opportunities
- Formulate cost conscious employment advertisements for client departments for publications.
- Review and evaluate candidate applications and/or resume in terms of related experience, education and skill rejecting those not meeting the minimum qualifications on the approved job description.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and at least one year of recruitment experience required.
- OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of recruitment experience required.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
PHR, SPHR certification, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certification or UPMC HCI Strategic HR Business Partner Certification preferred.
