The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst develops and supports solutions that turn data into actionable information, enabling data driven decisions for Pensiamo and its clients. The BI Analyst will be tasked with participating in and assisting senior team members with a broad spectrum of BI activities: cultivating new data integrations across clients, normalizing data between disparate data sources, creating recurring and ad-hoc reports and developing data visualizations that simplify complex data sets and analyses.

This position works Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm from the US Steel Tower with some work from home avalible. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver user training on tools and reports
  • Participate in and assist senior team members with efforts to maintain, validate and update data within the data warehouse to ensure data integrity
  • Develop, execute and maintain test scripts to validate report accuracy and expected results
  • Participate in and assist senior team members with new reports and analytics lifecycles from concept-to-production
  • Develop and maintain robust documentation of data sources, integrations and reports
  • Liaise with clients and 3rd parties to identify new data sources and understand changes to existing data sources
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices and keeping current with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Participate in and assist senior team members with the development of BI integrations between ERP, clinical and 3rd party systems and the data warehouse

 

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Information Technology, Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Business Intelligence related role
  • Experience with data integration and ETL tools
  • Experience with data modeling and analysis for data warehousing, big data and data analytics
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to develop business requirements and functional specification documents
  • Understanding and knowledge of data architecture and data flows within systems
  • Proficiency with systems, database administration, and scripting
