UPMC Workpartners is seeking a Business Analyst!

This role is responsible for quality review of calls, claims and transactions performed by Workpartners Absence Management team. Interface with leave, disability, vocational and intake teams to meet or exceed service requirements. Assist supervisors with training to provide feedback and education to employees. Work with internal customers to identify problems and propose solutions. Partner with operations and account management to identify improvement opportunities for increased client satisfaction.

PREFERENCES: One year general auditing experience preferred, general knowledge of FMLA, Disability, and ADA preferred

This is a REMOTE role, and interested candidates should live within the Continental US. 


Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality review on calls, claims and transactions handled by Absence Management employees in accordance with company policies and procedure and federal guidelines.
  • Track error trends and suggest training opportunities.
  • Maintain or exceed quality and production goals.
  • Effectively prioritize and complete all assigned tasks.
  • Work with internal customers to identify problems and propose solutions.
  • Identify areas of concern that may compromise client satisfaction.
  • Participate as needed in special projects and other auditing activities.
  • Maintain employee/insured confidentiality.
  • Participate in training programs as available/requested.
  • Openly participate in team meetings, provide ideas and suggestions to ensure client satisfaction, and promote teamwork.
  • Assist other departments during periods of backlogs.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience required.
  • Minimum of two years of general business experience required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in business/industry specialty required.
  • One year general auditing experience preferred, general knowledge of FMLA, Disability, ADA preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare products preferred.Competent in MS Office and PC skills preferred.
  • Working knowledge of COB (Coordination of Benefits) preferred.
  • Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
