UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is currently hiring a Clinical Program Manager (RN) to support the Car-T & Cellular Therapy program at the Hillman Cancer Center located in Shadyside/Pittsburgh, PA.
This position will work at the Lemieux Center for Blood Cancers with a flexible Monday-Friday daylight schedule with virtual work from home option(s).
The Program Manager is responsible for clinical operations and direct oversight of the clinical program to include supervision of some nursing staff and administrative support staff for the Clinic. This position will work closely with the physicians, clinicians, allied health professionals, and ancillary staff within the Hillman Cancer and Clinical Research Services as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Contracting & Onboarding of New CAR-T Products
- CAR-T Financial Oversight
- Clinical implementation of New CAR-T Products
- Consult for Onboarding of non-CAR-T Cellular Therapy Products
- Programmatic Data Analysis/Outcomes
- REMS Training, Compliance, and Audits
- Insurance RFI’s/designations
Qualifications
- Relevant clinical experience in either oncology or research preferred.
- BSN is required.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related health care field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive leadership experience required.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, meet requests from multiple individuals, and respond appropriately to sudden workload changes.
- Must possess excellent presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and/or interact appropriately with the ages of the patients served by the department.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
