Purpose:
The WCA Foundation's mission supports and fosters healthcare initiatives at UPMC Chautauqua to ensure high quality patient care for all, close to home. The WCA Foundation seeks a Donor Relations Specialist to support the day-to-day work of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- In accordance with the organization's operations, the DRS will provide support to the Executive Director with scheduling and coordinating meetings with the board of directors and established committees. In addition, the DRS will assist in communications and social media functions.
- In partnership with the Executive Director of the WCA Foundation, the Donor Relations Specialist (DRS) will play a critical role in supporting the WCA Foundation's fundraising and donor relations. With a commitment to the mission of the WCA Foundation in supporting healthcare at UPMC Chautauqua, the DRS is responsible for recording and maintaining the integrity of gift and constituent information in the department's Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/NXT database while assisting with the department's workflow coordination in ensuring optimal resource development productivity.
Qualifications
Preferred
- Associate degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience working in customer service field.
- Experience in data systems, preferably donor software (Raiser?s Edge/NXT) or other data base software.
- Analytical skills and ability to measure effective results to create meaningful reporting.
- Social media and communication skills with press releases, photos, website updates.
- Maturity and comfort with a variety of people that support the work of the WCA Foundation.
- Excellent writing skills and communication skills with the public.
