Description

UPMC has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Product Manager II (Remote) within Community Care Behavioral Health (CCBH). This is a regular, full-time position working daylight hours, and while the position is based in downtown Pittsburgh at the Heinz 57 Center, this team has transitioned to working remotely full-time and will continue to do so post-COVID-19, permanently. Qualified candidates from remote regional or US locations are welcome to apply.

Community Care works to improve the health and wellbeing of over one million members through the delivery of effective and accessible behavioral health services. Our rapidly growing Internet Strategy team develops and maintains a secure, web-based application to help our healthcare providers complete critical clinical and operational functions. We’re looking for a Digital Product Manager II to collaborate with creative, technical, and business partners to guide the design, implementation, and evolution of Community Care’s ePortal. Responsibilities:

  • Understand needs of the user, stakeholders, and partners and how they relate to products managed
  • Apply KPIs, user research, customer input, business needs, and other sources to the prioritization of product features and an evolving product vision
  • Strategically assist in the design and delivery of a holistic and consistent user experience across products
  • Help define product strategy and maintain roadmaps for digital products
  • Assist in the development of new or modified processes and procedures to support product strategy
  • Identify resource gaps and make business cases to acquire resources that will aid the delivery of product goals
  • Advocate for the end-user and identify opportunities to improve products to benefit the user experience
  • Communicate statuses and shifting priorities to all relevant stakeholders, negotiate for desired outcomes
  • Ensure timely delivery of product goals
  • Help to ensure quality through UAT testing
  • Create and deliver training on digital products
  • Stay current on digital trends and ensure that products remain relevant
  • Facilitate vendor evaluation and build vs. buy decisions
  • Project management and/or business analysis responsibilities when needed
  • Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree MIS, Information Technology, HCI, Business, or equivalent
  • 3-7 Years experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or related field
  • Experience contributing to large digital efforts (1y+/multi-million dollar product development efforts in the web and Mobile space)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience working across disciplines (IT, Marketing, Sales, etc.) and analyzing stakeholder needs
  • Ability to apply great ideas from multiple diverse sources to find the best solution to a problem or set of problems
  • Self- starter with ability to deal with ambiguity and to adapt and embrace change
  • Skill with computers and mobile devices; able to use and adopt necessary software productivity products and new platforms as needed.
  • Stakeholder communication and negotiation and Health insurance or healthcare experience
  • Agile/Scrum exposure as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
  • Experience presenting to all levels of an organization
  • Analytics/data-driven background
  • Experience with multi-channel digital asset delivery
  • Experience collaborating with diverse groups to create requirements in Job Story (JTBD) format
