Unit Overview: 5 South is a 46-bed medical-telemetry unit specializing in the care of cardiac and medical patients. The unit treats conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease, Acute Myocardial Infarction, Heart Failure, Arrhythmias, Pneumonia, and more. It features 25 rooms with bedside cardiac monitors for complex cases and provides telemetry and intermediate care for post-cardiac procedure patients.

Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time Professional Staff Nurse to join our dedicated care team. As a Registered Nurse and integral part of the care delivery team, you will set the standard for patient care quality and safety. You will be responsible for managing and providing nursing care to a group of patients, using independent judgment, clear communication, and collaboration with the care team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

The final job title and rate of pay will be based upon both individual qualifications and candidate choice. Any required certifications and contributions based on job title will be afforded a timeframe to obtain. The minimum rate of pay for a non-BSN Professional Staff Nurse is $33.75.

The Professional Staff Nurse role encompasses leadership, collaboration, partnership, and supervision. You will work closely with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients, and families to ensure the highest level of care.
