• Familiarity with website management and graphics creation.

The salary range for this position is between $74,734 – $101,587 annually.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as a strategy, brand and reputation check-point for all marketing, advertising and communication execution (campaign development, paid advertising and partnerships, earned media, social media, graphics creation, video production, and etc.).
• Coordinates and collaborates with UPMC communications and media teams as appropriate and/or proactively identify synergistic opportunities for increasing brand awareness and increasing donors and revenue.
• Develop methods to evaluate marketing communication projects based upon effectiveness and cost/benefit and document results, regularly reporting on key metrics.
• Manages necessary website updates and content refreshes, ensuring that content is as up-to-date and relevant as possible. Engages third party for development assistance when necessary, and manages project scope and budget accordingly.
• Independently manages the research, writing, design and production of any printed materials, videos and visual materials, and websites, monitors project budgets, handles approvals and other client relations and takes responsibility for the accuracy and effectiveness of information communicated.
• Leads the development, implementation and execution of strategic marketing and communication plans, including budgets, client interaction, creative development and staff management
• Manages multi-faceted components of the marketing process, including supervision of internal staff, external marketing agencies or vendors and related staff associated with specific projects.
• Oversees the execution of media, public relations, and social media strategies.
• Performs full spectrum of program production management, including social media and PR support, outsourced videographers and photographers, and customer service.
• Serves as a marketing communications consultant and advises leadership on marketing best practices.
• Demonstrates service-oriented behavior in interactions with clients and co-workers. Acts as a role model for service excellence toward patients, visitors, faculty, and staff.
• Demonstrates leadership in working across work streams with other colleagues to cultivate creativity and problem-solving, achieve quality and efficiency, and promote teamwork in support of departmental and foundation goals.
