The UPMC Pinnacle Foundation is looking for a new Donor Relations/Database Coord to support the operations team. The ideal applicant for this position should have sufficient administrative/technical skills and be comfortable interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.

This position is expected to occasionally travel within the Central PA region to support events as needed.

Schedule: Monday – Friday with occasional weekends. Manager will discuss schedule during interview. No Holidays!

Purpose:
The Database Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with both prospecting and donor relations efforts as part of the operations and Vice President of Operations team. This role is essential for the behind-the-scenes efforts to build relationships and identify new prospects for the ultimate goal of increasing the level of philanthropic support for UPMC Central PA. This position will be: assisting with inputting donor information in the donor database assuring accuracy of additions, changes and deletions; responsible providing basic reports as needed for gift officers and VP donor visits, and annual giving direct response needs; responsible for assisting with the donor management system, including identification and tracking of major donors; working with database manager, associate director of annual giving, and VP to ensure that cultivation and solicitation schedules are met; managing the daily wealth screening process and identifying new prospects who most likely have both capacity to give and affinity to support the Foundation. This position will also be involved in the grateful patient program, employee giving campaigns, and other programming that works toward the goals of acquiring new donors and building relationships with current donors.

Responsibilities:

• Work with VP to shape metrics used to measure pipeline growth and performance
• Manage the daily wealth screening results of patient admissions for any major prospects as well as monitoring when major donors are admitted. 
• Coordinates a plan with MGO’s and/or VP of Development for personal visits to those individuals while in hospital and follow-up after discharge.
• Assist with donation processing and payroll as needed.
• Maintain RE including Moves Management & Action Tracks. 
• Generates reports on fundraising initiatives to ensure consistent data collection that reflects relationship activity, stages and engagement.

• Assist with coordination and presentations of the employee giving program.

   

• Ensures current and accurate data elements are contained in donor records.
• Oversees the donor acknowledgement process.
• Generate basic donor list and reports to support direct response campaigns, major gifts portfolios, and stewardship efforts.
• Provide logistical support for stewardship, annual giving, and donor communications as part of broader development initiatives.
