At UPMC, we are committed to providing Life Changing Medicine through compassionate, patient-centered care. UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support our nurse triage team within a growing cardiology service line.

This position is ideal for an enthusiastic, patient-focused RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong communication and clinical judgment skills. The role is primarily focused on telephone triage and care coordination, working closely with providers to ensure patients receive timely, appropriate guidance and follow-up care.

What You’ll Do:
• Triage patient calls and assess symptoms to determine appropriate care and next steps
• Schedule appointments, procedures, and diagnostic testing as needed
• Provide patient education, including medication guidance and care instructions
• Communicate test and procedure results as directed by providers
• Collaborate closely with physicians and care team members to coordinate care plans

Schedule:
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility between 8:00–4:30 or 8:30–5:00)
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements

Location & Flexibility:
• Primary location: Hanover or York office
• Potential for hybrid or fully remote work after training, based on performance and productivity
