Are you a skilled CT Technologist looking to join a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care? UPMC Muncy is seeking an experienced CT Technologist | CT Tech Multi-Skill to perform advanced imaging procedures using state-of-the-art technology while providing outstanding care and compassion to our patients.

In this role, you’ll work independently, applying your technical expertise and critical thinking skills to produce high-quality diagnostic images that support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Schedule

• Rotating day, evening, and night shifts
• Minimum one weekend per month
• Minimum one holiday per year
• No call requirements

What You’ll Do

Perform Advanced CT Imaging

• Perform CT procedures using established imaging protocols with minimal supervision.
• Adjust protocols and techniques as needed to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Utilize advanced imaging equipment for image acquisition, reconstruction, analysis, and documentation.

Administer Contrast & Ensure Patient Safety

• Administer oral, rectal, and IV contrast in accordance with physician orders and department policies.
• Assess patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast administration.
• Demonstrate proper venipuncture technique and safe use of power injectors.

Deliver Exceptional Patient Care

• Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients, helping reduce anxiety and encouraging cooperation.
• Review patient histories and physician orders to ensure accurate and appropriate imaging studies.
• Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.

Support Quality & Compliance

• Verify patient identity using two patient identifiers and follow universal safety protocols.
• Ensure procedures are properly coded, tracked through the RIS system, and archived in iSite for interpretation.
• Enter charges accurately for all exams performed.

Collaborate as a Valued Team Member

• Work closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and fellow imaging professionals to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and a commitment to teamwork in every interaction.
