This flexible opportunity offers daylight hours with weekend and holiday coverage on an as-needed and as-available basis. You’ll work alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll provide skilled physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition or treatment response to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist in the treatment and assessment of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within the scope of practice.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques to maximize patient outcomes and functional independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation that meets regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal outcomes.
• Supervise and effectively utilize rehabilitation support staff in accordance with state practice regulations.
• Complete charge entry and statistical reporting accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with patient transport as needed in a safe, professional, and compassionate manner.
• Rotate between treatment areas or facilities as operational needs require.
• Meet productivity standards while maintaining a high level of patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, departmental initiatives, and professional development activities.
• Provide constructive feedback and support continuous improvement efforts within the department.
